Bangalore to Hampi trip

When: 13,14, 15th Dec 2013.
Destination: Hampi - Karnataka
How and who all are: Solo Ride
Odometer reading: 850Kms.

Route Map: Bangalore – Chitradurga – Hospet – Hampi – Chitradurga– Bangalore.

Short and sweet description:
The ride to Hampi was one side and ride inside Hampi streets was other side. One can easily realize the truth behind calling this place as "Temple Town" by riding through the Hampi streets. Must visit place for the guys who loves "Man Made beauties" . :)

Travelogue:

Hampi was there in my to-do travel list since long time. As most of my trip mates likes only God-Made beauties rather than Man-Made beauty, it took me long time to visit Temple-Town. One of my friend Teja from Hyderabad has planned a ride to Hampi from Hyderabad along with his RoyalEnfield mates. He asked me to join for the trip even though it was a RE trip. Initially I was in dilemma, but some how he convinced me to join for the trip. After the trip I came to know that, it doens't matter which bike you riding, its all about Brother-hood... All bikers are under same roof called "Man and Machine".

 Day 1:
Since I was from Bangalore, so our plan was to meet in Hospet Guest House. As per plan my route map was to reach Hospet via Chitradurga.
As I was having enough riding experience on Bangalore-Chitradurga route, I was pretty sure about the time required to reach Chitradurga(~270Kms). So instead of starting early morning, I've started around 11'o clock after finishing breakfast.

Reached Blr-Chitradurga-Pune road via "NICE Road". Initially the weather was quite irritating.. add to it, traffic was quite heavy till I cross Tumkur.
Since road condition is very good, I was able to reach the "Chitradurga" in less time and stopped for a lunch break. pls remember that, after Chitradurga I have hardly observed hotels, so

who ever wants to visit Hampi, pls keep this in mind while planning. After Chitradurga I've taken right turn to reach Hampi. Remainig ride through that road was
hectic, as the road condition is average and heavy vehicle traffic is very much. By Evenning 5'o clock I was in "Hospet". Hampi is ~15kms far from Houspet.
Bikers(IBR tram) who are coming from hyderabad have reached the guest house around 7'o clock. After having nice home made chicken biryani in the guest house, it was time for sleep.

Day 2:
The next day we've lost ourselves in the streets of Hampi. After enjoying the beautiful architecture of Hampi till evening, we've headed towards Houspet guest house.
But, here adventurous part was, we've suddenly decided to pitch the tents in an unknown place  during night and resting over there itself and having the half cooked chicken as dinner :)

Day 3:
Riding through the same route to reach Bangalore was little bit boring, but doesn't have any other option than opting for that. So I ride back the same way and reached Bangalore by 8'o clock in the night.

Now the images will talk about Hampi.
