Good morning..!!!
It was all set to "ride to Rameshwaram".
Much needed NH road was back and we were cruising with a good average speed.
In between, stopped at "Wind turbines" for couple of snaps and landscape view.
One of the memorable moment was, "Lunch" which has costed lesser than our breakfast + Dinner.
With a couple of breaks, by 3.30 we were able to reach Rameshwaram. Instead of stopping, we directly headed towards " Dhanushkodi - The Ghost Town of India".
Sea water has covered both the sides of road which leads to Dhaniushkodi from Rameshwaram. and the road was pretty straight. :) Within 15mins we were able to rech the last point called "Dhanushkodi Beach".
Another 6 kms journey is required to reach "Ghost Town of DhanushKodi" from where the "Sri Lanka" is just 19 miles far(By Sea). One has to go by local Jeeps/Vans transportation to reach the town.
I've witnessed "One of the best sunset" till now in Dhanushkodi. That was simply breath taking. Have a look at snaps.. even you can also feel the same ... !! :P
Had fun by taking our bikes into the beach, By 6.30 we've left the Dhanushkodi and reached Rameshwaram to stay over night. Without much hunting, able to get the hotel.
That was the end of Day8.
