Day 10: Last day of SouthIndia trip

Main Post: South India trip by Bike

Day 10: Feb 9th 2013

Route map: Dindigul - Salem - Bangalore

Travelogue:

GOOD MORNING...!!!
Start of Day 10 and Last day of our SouthIndia trip.!!

Last night dinner(biryani) has caused some damage to Arun's stomach. Even I've started feeling the symptoms of cold.

Instead of starting early morning, we've taken some time till medical shops gets open. After having "on the counter drugs". we've started towards Bangalore.

To our bad luck.. while entering the NH7, Arun's bike got a skid and resulted in breaking of foot rest. Luckily we were able to find a "Welding shop". It took 2Hrs to fix the issue.

At last we were able to leave Dindigul at 11.45am. We suppose to ride 380kms more to reach Bangalore. As it was NH7 with 4/6 lane. we were able to maintain nice average speed.

With an intermediate breaks for lunch and sncaks, by 7'o clock we were able to reach Bangalore(Electronic city).

Yesss...!!! We made it.. :)
It was my long time wish to ride across "South India by Bike".
Successfully I've finished that . :)
It was total 2530kms of riding.

The trip has given best memories for my life.
Last but not the least "Every destination, each n every kilometer of ride was enjoyable"

Thanks to my companion "Arun" and Special thanks to my lovely beast "Apache 180 RTR".

Enjoyed the ride being an Apachian,
Enjoyed even more being a Rider !!

END OF DAY 10..!! END of SouthIndia Trip..!! :)
Thanks a lot for reading my travelogue.

Day 9: Rameshwaram - Madurai - Dindigul

Main Post: South India trip by Bike

Day 9: Feb 8th 2013

Route map:  Rameshwaram - Madurai - Dindigul

Travelogue:

I've got up early to visit Rameshwaram temple.
Quickly had a dharshan and captured the beautiful architecture of temple.

By 10AM we have left the Ramehwaram to reach Madurai.
In between stopped at "Pamban bridge".
The view was filled with different shades of BLUE color everywhere..
The view of "Bay Of Bengal" seems like meeting the sky somewhere...!!

Took all the possible shots with our beasts and headed towards Madurai.
As I was feeling sleepy, we have stopped for some time.

The road condition was good till Madurai.
By 2PM we have reached the Madurai temple. As the temple was closed from 12.30 - 4.  Mean while we have finished lunch. As the locker facility was available, we have kept our luggage in the locker room.

The architecture of the temple was one of the best thing. The way they colored the temple was very attractive. By 5.30 we were able to finish the dharshan and reached our bikes.

As we were ready to ride for some more time. We thought of making "Dindigul" as our night halt.

It was just 70kms far from Rameshwaram. As it was NH7, we have reached Dindigul by 7PM.

As the Dindigul is famous for Biryani, we thought of tasting it. But, to our bad luck Biryani was finished in one of the famous hotel - PONRAM BIRYANI HOTEL. So we've adjusted with eating in normal hotel and headed back to the lodge.

So far the ride was perfect with no technical issues with bike and no health issues.

I was very happy that, one more day of ride will finish our "SOUTH INDIA TRIP".
It was big achievement as a Biker for us :)
