Day 9: Rameshwaram - Madurai - Dindigul

Main Post: South India trip by Bike

Day 9: Feb 8th 2013

Route map:  Rameshwaram - Madurai - Dindigul

Travelogue:

I've got up early to visit Rameshwaram temple.
Quickly had a dharshan and captured the beautiful architecture of temple.

By 10AM we have left the Ramehwaram to reach Madurai.
In between stopped at "Pamban bridge".
The view was filled with different shades of BLUE color everywhere..
The view of "Bay Of Bengal" seems like meeting the sky somewhere...!!

Took all the possible shots with our beasts and headed towards Madurai.
As I was feeling sleepy, we have stopped for some time.

The road condition was good till Madurai.
By 2PM we have reached the Madurai temple. As the temple was closed from 12.30 - 4.  Mean while we have finished lunch. As the locker facility was available, we have kept our luggage in the locker room.

The architecture of the temple was one of the best thing. The way they colored the temple was very attractive. By 5.30 we were able to finish the dharshan and reached our bikes.

As we were ready to ride for some more time. We thought of making "Dindigul" as our night halt.

It was just 70kms far from Rameshwaram. As it was NH7, we have reached Dindigul by 7PM.

As the Dindigul is famous for Biryani, we thought of tasting it. But, to our bad luck Biryani was finished in one of the famous hotel - PONRAM BIRYANI HOTEL. So we've adjusted with eating in normal hotel and headed back to the lodge.

So far the ride was perfect with no technical issues with bike and no health issues.

I was very happy that, one more day of ride will finish our "SOUTH INDIA TRIP".
It was big achievement as a Biker for us :)
